Art has always been my first reaction; when something fills me with light, I feel an urge to collect it. I find art my way to share that light.

I draw inspiration from nature, light and shadows, people, and my southern heritage. Vivid colors, blocky shapes and a sense of movement or urgency often mark my work. Whether through the neon orange of a landscape or dramatic pose of a hand, I gravitate toward creating pieces that grab your attention. As I paint, I hope to create colorful spaces to delight in or familiar places that spring up lost memories.

I have a BFA from Covenant College and now live in Chattanooga, TN.
